My name is Amalea Jane and this is my first blog. I decided to use the name misskawaiikitten because I love all things cute and I love cats! (=^.^=) I am basically a cat whisperer because I've never met a cat I didn't get along with! However, I do love all other animals too! I am a vegetarian and I try to live a mostly vegan lifestyle. It's been a difficult transition going more into veganism, but I've been a vegetarian for about 5 years now.

I am new to the world of cosplay but I hope to get more into it soon. This spring I already have two projects that I'm currently working on: Maka Albarn from Soul Eater and Misa Amane from Death Note! Also, I really love Japanese fashion. My favorite Japanese fashions are gyaru and Lolita, which is what I mainly dress in when I wear Japanese clothing. My favorite brands are Liz Lisa and Baby the Stars Shine Bright:)

 

Outside of things related to Japanese culture, I really love dance and musical theatre. I've been involved in theatre arts for quite some time now, and I've been doing performances for much of my life. I was also in a lot of choir performances throughout childhood. I've been dancing for 5 years now, doing many different genres, including ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, lyrical, and tap. I would love to be a choreographer or dance teacher someday. Also, kind of random, but my dream career would be a voice actor. I think that would be so much fun! 

 

I decided to make a blog because I've had an interest in doing so for years. I feel that this is a great outlet to share things with the world and meet many new people who have similar interests to me. I also want to share any sort of helpful tips I can, whether it be for cosplay or vegetarian recipes or anything else. This blog might get kind of random at times, but hopefully it will appeal to all kinds of different people.
